I guess my point is you can probably get used to it, to a fault, but it's just another sight reading method. I'm not saying this to be argumentative or bitching about RS - it's all good and if I really wanted to slow down and analyse the music for improvisation, I can do that, it's just that playing along is so much fun. I can analyze the incoming notes faster and faster at the expense of actually understanding what's going on musically, apart from chord progressions. Personally I've found myself turning into a rocksmith sight reading freak - not even particularly in a good way. I come from a mixed instrument background (keyboards, acoustic classical guitar, sax) and while I can read sheet music, I'm no speed freak at it. Maybe I can also apply this to RS initially. Although once you become advanced you are supposed to switch your concentration to just the sound. I forgot about the music and immediately got better at playing just focusing on my fingerwork. That actually helped me a lot because at the time I was so focused on the sound and would get very frustrated if I didn't get positive-feedback from hitting the correct note and wanna start over. THANK YOU TIP: Maybe you already know this, but A long time ago my piano instructor told me to look at learning piano as finger-puzzle.

I have been having installation troubles: The 'STEAM' Install info was the wrong material on the disk so I had to uninstall everything I did manage to install, then manually install STEAM from the 'STEAMPOWERED.COM' website. Youll also be able to relicense and transfer songs from the original disc for the new Rocksmith 2014 Edition.

To view the in-game manual from the Main Menu, press the Space Bar, select Options, Excellent Condition Gameplay Tested Satisfaction Guaranteed PLAY OVER 50 NEW SONGS and all the DLC you own in the original Rocksmith (on the same platform).
